My final for Advanced Editing!

I wrote the script for this just after making this video almost 2 years ago. and procrastinated on it endlessly.

Very Happy with how it finally came out. I want to make more, especially since I saved all my Jaga and Cheetarah ideas for it’s own episode. No promises, though.

Here’s a preview of what I’m doing for my Advanced Editing Final.

an excerpt from last night. I was recording voices for lizards, old mages, and cobra commander.

Look who’s come crawling back.

New video. It always irked me how little the 4 guys at Telma’s bar helped out in the game. It seemed like they might have intended them to be part of the dungeons, like the sages in Wind Waker, but decided against it at the last minute.

Link’s whole “Secret mission from the gods” attitude started getting weird at this point in the game. That’s for finding this cannon that will take anyone to that ancient sky city you wanted to study all your life… now go away. Shoo. I have to do something private with the cannon. It’s mine now.

I really shouldn’t have spent the afternoon on this.

About to work on the composition, when I took a quick look at what I had so far. Without the dialogue, or the background, you can really get a misleading idea about what the context is. XD

Got my Tablet Pen back!

I left it at my brother’s over break. Been making due with a broken one for the past 3 weeks.

Long over due on a ton of things, but I also have a lot of homework this week. Fuck. Anyway, more crazy posts again soon.

One of my favorite christmas projects with the old gang.

My First Claymation in over 7 years! I stopped making them around the time I started working in Digital editing. Before hand I would shoot the claymation entirely in sequence with few changes, and when I started working in final cut I had too much trouble making it that way, but wasn’t satisfied with the way I used to make them.

I took an editing class this semester, and learning some of the standard procedures to editing was a huge help in this. Little things Like Labeling and coverage.

Fun video I got to edit. All the guys I worked with were pretty cool, too.

The assignment revolved around commenting social media. We brainstormed a lot of good ideas, but we needed to make sure we could film it in 4 hours, so we kept it simple.
