Helped my friend Barry move out of his place today.
I’m amazed at how much stuff he has on him when I helped him move. I always considered myself a pack-rat, and when I moved out of my sisters I had my whole room packed into 5 boxes (and I only took 2 with me to college.)
It can be expensive to hold onto things that get in the way of a move, though. I can see why he’d want to hold onto this stuff, though, So I’m glad I was here to help.
I’m all moved in, Most of my stuff is unpacked, and I don’t have any school work to worry about for the next three months

New video. This one was a homework assignment for advanced editing and it’s also my first first functioning video I’ve edited in AVID 6!
This turned from being my least favorite assignment this year to my most favorite in an alarmingly short time.
Holy shit that dipshit. Does he even understand that hospitals do not do preventative care? Especially to the uninsured? Where the fuck does he think women go when they want to make sure they don’t have fucking cancer? Not all Doctors do that shit, and they charge out the ass. I’ve gotten all my yearly things done at Planned Parenthood for years, so did I just make that shit up?? Did magic fairies do my pap smear and breast exam? His mother doesn’t work for one, so SHE DOESN’T KNOW THEIR INTERNAL PROCEEDINGS.
My sister has to use PP for all those regular services too. Though I’ll admit I didn’t know about that any of that until about a year ago.
The Crucible by Arthur Miller is a play that uses the Salem Witch Trials to criticize the McCarthy hearings of the 1950s.
My Sophomore year of high school we learned about the Salem Witch Trials, followed by the McCarthy Hearings. Then we read the book. Then we saw a documentary on Salem, and one on McCarthy. Then we saw a movie version of the book. And then we saw a play about it.
I didn’t like anything about that. Not that I didn’t believe it when I did my own research on The McCarthy hearings for a paper the year after, the information led to to the same conclusion. But it’s a conclusion I preferred to reach on my own. Not something I want manipulated into me.
This book still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
